Master Gardener Level 1 Training

Beginning Saturday, March 28, Master Gardener Level 1 Training will begin. Adult participants will receive 36  hours of training on a variety of gardening and landscaping topics. These topics include basic botany, soil science, fruits, vegetables, diseases, insects, annual and perennial flowers, trees and shrubs, backyard wildlife, lawn care, native plants, and more!
Master Gardener Volunteers are required to volunteer 24 hours of their time per year to a variety of volunteer gardening opportunities. You also need to have at least 10 hours of continuing education per year.
Becoming a certified Wisconsin Master Gardener Volunteer is a great way to enrich your life and the lives of others!
Class size is limited, so register early. Deadline is March 20. The fee for the class is $60.00 ($90:00 for two people form the same household who share written materials)
